GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The following T&Cs apply to all orders placed via our online shop.
These T&Cs also apply to businesses for future commercial relations without the need for any formal expression thereof. Unless expressly approved by us to the contrary, we cannot accept the contractual validity of any conflicting or complementary general terms and conditions used by any business.
2. Information collected
United Foods Company collects personally identifiable information in the form of a sign-up. We may ask for your name, email address, birth date, gender, pin code, occupation, industry, personal interests etc. Once you have sent us this information and sign in to our services, you are given a unique id and are not anonymous to us anymore.
3. Use of information collected
United Foods Company uses information for two general purposes: to provide better service to you and ensure on time deliveries of your orders and to contact you about special offers and promotions. United Foods.com may amend this policy from time to time.
We use any information voluntarily you give us to enhance your experience in our site, which is to provide you with interactive or personalized elements on the sites and to better prepare future content based on your interests. We aggregate this tracking information to determine which areas of our site members like and don’t like based on traffic to those areas. We don’t track what individual members read, but rather how well each page performs overall. This helps us continue to build a better service for you.
Members may unsubscribe to any of our electronic newsletters at any time by following the instructions contained at the end of every newsletter.
4. Contractual partner, formation of contract
The purchase contract is concluded with United Foods Company (PJSC)
The display of products within the online shop constitutes a binding offer on our part to enter into a contract vis-à-vis the items. You may place our products in your basket without obligation and amend your entries at any time prior to submitting a binding order by using the correction facilities that are provided for this purpose and explained during the ordering process. The contract is formed by clicking on the order button which indicates your acceptance of our offer concerning the goods contained in your basket. Once you have sent your order you will immediately receive a confirmation via e-mail.
5. Contract language, saving of the contract text
The languages available for concluding the contract are English and Arabic.
We save the text of the contract and forward the order data and our T&Cs to you by e-mail. You may also view the text of the contract in our customer login area.
6. Delivery conditions
Delivery costs are added to the product prices as displayed. Delivery charges are explained within individual product offers.
We only dispatch goods en route; pick up by the customer is not possible.
7. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall United Foods Company (PJSC). be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, consequential damages, or any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses resulting from.
• The use or the inability to use our services or access content,
• The cost of procurement of substitute goods and services resulting from transactions entered into through or from United Foods Company mobile app or any web service
• The unauthorized access to or alterations of your transmissions or data,
• Improper storage and handling of United Foods Company Products and any losses sustained due to the same,
• Statements or conduct of any third party on the service, or Any other matter relating to the service, even if United Foods Company has been advised of the possibility of damages.
9. Financial Transactions
If you make any financial transactions on United Foods Company, including paying for products or services, you may be asked for credit card or other payment information. You agree that all information you provide is accurate, complete and current and that you will pay all charges owed, including any applicable taxes. You agree that you are solely responsible for any personal income reporting by applicable government authorities.
10. Governing Law
This Agreement has been executed and delivered in UAE, and its interpretations, validity and performance shall be construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of UAE.
11. Price & Payment
All prices published are in United Arab Emirates Dirham AED. In case of erroneous pricing for products listed online, United Foods Company reserves the right to choose to honour or cancel the transaction. Customers will receive refunds on the amount paid, in case of cancelled transactions. All Promotions offered are subject to availability at the time of delivery and valid as long as stock lasts.
The following payment methods are basically available in our online shop:
• Credit Card
With the submission of the order, you are sending us your credit card details at the same time.
After your identification as the legal cardholder, directly after the order, we will ask your credit card company to initiate the payment transaction. The payment transaction is automatically carried out by the credit card company and charged to your card.
• Cash On Delivery
With the submission of the order, you will be paying cash against the ordered products.
After placement of the order, you will be forwarded to the online E-Wallet. United Foods E-Wallet is an electronic payment method which requires you to pre-load your account with a budget as far it does not exceed 1000AED. The E-wallet can be used as a payment method similar to credit cards.
13. Retention of title
The goods shall remain our property until full payment is made.
14. Damaged/Defective/Wrong Product
United Foods Company shall strive to ensure that all the Products displayed are available in stock at all times. In the unforeseen event of a specific Product not being available in stock, United Foods Company shall propose a substitute Product. In case the product is defective, damaged or different from the order placed and such claim is lodged by the Customer within 24 Hours from the delivery, United Foods will replace the product or process a refund for the amount paid when the customer shares the Delivery Document and Invoice No. If you feel that a product is not meeting your expectations, please send an e-mail to: email@example.com with the subject line: “Complaint Delivered Product” and write your concerns to us We will get in touch with you to get it sorted out.
